I trained as a Craft and Art teacher in the early 1970's. I always enjoyed making things and chose to study Ceramics. I developed sculptural pieces using heavily grogged clay. I taught in Ely, Cambridgeshire and Portland, Dorset. I have always tried to encourage students to develop imaginative pieces of work using a variety of materials. Teaching Technology and Art was always challenging and exciting. I really enjoyed offering opportunities for students to develop their creativity. These are a few examples of year 11 GCSE practical work. Click to view examples of students work when I was teaching. |

Having enjoyed teaching for over 30 years, I now have the time to develop more of my own work. |
